Software Developer

As a Software Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and scaling Zidnify’s financial automation platform. You’ll work on the backend, frontend, or full stack, integrating local systems (like Faktura Uzasbo and payment gateways), improving performance, and developing features that make finance simple for non-accountants.
You’ll collaborate closely with our product and AI teams to bring automation and explainable AI into everyday business finance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core product features such as e-invoicing, bookkeeping automation, and payroll.
- Build integrations with Uzbek payment gateways, bank APIs, and tax systems.
- Contribute to open-source code and help maintain clean, well-documented repositories.
- Write secure, scalable APIs and ensure strong data protection standards.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create simple, user-friendly interfaces.
- Implement unit and integration tests; ensure stability and high uptime (SRE mindset).
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Help localize the app (multi-language: English, Russian, Uzbek).
Must Have
- 2+ years experience in software development (frontend, backend, or full stack).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python (preferred stack: React + FastAPI or Node.js).
- Experience with REST APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and Docker.
- Familiarity with Git and open-source collaboration workflows.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar).
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to clean, maintainable code.
Nice to have
- Experience with Fintech, ERP, or accounting systems.
- Knowledge of e-invoicing APIs (like Faktura Uzasbo) or Open Banking integrations.
- Interest in AI-assisted automation, OCR, or data extraction.
- Familiarity with Uzbekistan’s SME tax structure or eagerness to learn.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
